JOB DESCRIPTION: Detailer/Drafter
This position is located in Wallingford, CT.
Responsibilities include processing engineering change notices; modifying existing drawings and parts lists according to sketches and marked prints provided by designers and engineers. Candidate should have CAD/AutoCad/SolidWorks experience and be able to generate drawings in at least one discipline, mechanical or electrical, under the direction of the Design Engineering Manager or designated supervisor, engineers, or designers.
High School diploma or GED required, certificate of completion from certified drafting school preferred. Candidate must have exposure to geometric tolerancing and knowledge of MIL-STD-100, DOD 1000 ANSI Y14.5. A minimum of 1 year drafting experience preferred. Candidate must have the ability to work without supervision and possess good problem solving skills.
