JOB DESCRIPTION: Engineer, Mechanical
This position is located in Wallingford, CT.
Responsibilities include designing and developing equipment for harsh environments; designing and manufacturing test equipment for evaluating APS products; troubleshooting and recommending changes for design improvements; assisting in the creation of working drawings of new equipment and supporting tools; performing calculations, estimations, and laboratory tests required to verify the soundness and suitability of the design; setting up bench and field testing of equipment and evaluating test results; and developing customer, project, and development proposals and making formal presentations. Occasional travel for design reviews, customer support and troubleshooting required. Ability to communicate effectively within and outside of the company.
Engineering degree with 0-5 years experience and knowledge of engineering fundamentals required.
