JOB DESCRIPTION: Reliability Engineer
This position is located in Wallingford, CT.
Responsible for identifying opportunities for improving the reliability of the company’s mechanical, electrical and software products and leading the effort to implement these improvements. Review new and existing designs to identify opportunities for improving reliability; recommend design or process changes that lead to improved reliability and work with other Engineering personnel to implement them.
BSEE or related degree plus 5 years minimum experience required, or equivalent. Requires a background in high reliability electro-mechanical assemblies, working knowledge of design and workmanship standards such as IPC, NASA or other aerospace, working knowledge of established reliability electronics components specifications and screening methods.
