JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Support Engineer
This position is located in Houston, TX.
This person will act as the primary field operations interface between the Company and our customer/client base to assure maximum satisfaction with APS's equipment. Responsibilities include field product and operations support, new product introduction support, scheduling and organizing customer training to ensure adequate knowledge to operate the equipment; keeping field manuals and training manuals and related documentation up to date; and advising and assisting in the design and testing of systems and software required for operation and support of the Company's products in the field.
Successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline plus 2 or more years of experience working with similar Company products in the field. The candidate must be able to interface effectively with customers at all levels and with those using or maintaining company products in the field. Must have working knowledge of computer networking and Windows, including basic troubleshooting skills. Unix or Linux experience helpful. Experience in Oilfield Services desired.
