DESCRIPTION: CNC Machinist
This position is located in Wallingford, CT.
Person will be responsible for set up and operation of state-of-the-art Mazak mills and lathes. Our complex, low volume, high precision work requires individuals familiar with tight geometric tolerances, skilled in interpreting blueprints and accustomed to working independently to select tooling, set up, operate, adjust settings and inspect their own work. Participation in planning, training and problem solving is expected.
Candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, possess basic math skills and have the ability to use a variety of hand tools, machine tools and precision measuring instruments. Flexibility to work both first and second shift, as required.
