DESCRIPTION: Software Engineer – Embedded
This position is located in Wallingford, CT.
This person will develop embedded software for data acquisition and control systems used in harsh environments. Responsibilities include participating in the conceptualization, planning and defining of software and hardware needs for new equipment designs; troubleshooting and enhancing existing software programs for improved operation and feature enhancement; and performing software design, code, and test on target hardware.
Bachelor of Science in Software or Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical industrial experience working on complex software development programs. Familiarity with Labview Data Acquisition software and with Motorola microcontrollers and microprocessors, a plus.
