Wallingford Company Creates the World’s Most Advanced and Reliable Electromechanical, Instrumentation, Sensor and Software Products for Oilfield Customers

Wallingford, Conn. – November 5, 2008 – APS Technology, Inc. has been named to the Connecticut Technology Council’s inaugural UHY LLP Tech Top 40 program, a celebration of the state’s 40 fastest-growing technology companies.

Selection of the Tech Top 40 was based on the percentage revenue growth over four years, from 2004–2007. Following five consecutive appearances in the now-defunct Deloitte Connecticut Technology Fast 50 Program, this year APS Technology has been recognized in the new Tech Top 40’s Energy/Environmental Technology category.

APS Technology is forecasting a 51% per year CAGR (compound annual growth rate) for 2005-2008. The company is currently working on a 10,000-square-foot addition to its headquarters in Wallingford.

To qualify for the UHY LLP Tech Top 40, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2004 and $3,000,000 in 2007; be headquartered in Connecticut; and own proprietary technology or intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues, or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.
