Wallingford, CT – Nov. 2, 2009 – APS Technology, Inc. has been named to the Connecticut Technology Council's UHY LLP Tech Top 40 program – a celebration of the state's 40 fastest-growing technology companies – for the second consecutive year.
Selection of the Tech Top 40 was based on the percentage revenue growth over four years, from 2005–2008. APS Technology is one of five companies recognized in the "Advanced Manufacturing Companies" category.

APS Technology achieved a 46.5% per year CAGR (compound annual growth rate) for 2005-2008. The company has completed a 10,000-square-foot addition to its headquarters in Wallingford. APS was also recently honored in the 2009 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, which recognizes the fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America, based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth over five years.
To qualify for the UHY LLP Tech Top 40, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2005 and $3,000,000 in 2008; be headquartered in Connecticut; and own proprietary technology or intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues, or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.
