Tech Top 40 Award Winner

Wallingford, CT – Sept. 27, 2011 – The Connecticut Technology Council and the accounting and advisory firm Marcum LLP have named APS Technology as one of the recipients of their annual Marcum Tech Top 40 Awards, recognizing it as one of Connecticut's fastest growing technology companies for 2011.

The awards were grouped in six categories, with APS Technology being one of the five companies recognized for growth in the "Advanced Manufacturing" heading. This marks the ninth consecutive year that APS has won this award (or its predecessor, the Deloitte Fast 50).

All of the companies considered for the Tech Top 40 Award had at least $3 million in operating revenue last year and were evaluated on revenue growth over the past four years. In almost all categories, the companies must have proprietary technology or propriety intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of their operating revenue.

"We at APS Technology are pleased to have again qualified for this prestigious award. All of the awarded companies have first-rate engineering and/or manufacturing capabilities and we are proud to be placed among them," said Bill Turner, President of APS. "Our engineering expertise, which enables us to provide engineering analysis, product development services and proprietary products to customers around the world, plays a large part in our ability to maintain solid revenue growth year after year."
